I Semi-Stan Beyonce

I wasn’t going to say anything about this, but honestly, I’m getting real tired of hearing people speak about it and sounding real ignorant if I do say so myself, Beyonce needs to check her fans because they praise and laude her & bask in all of her big weaved glory but as SOON as she does something that they don’t approve of they ready to chop her neck off. I’m not a fan and I’m not anti-Bey I’m in the middle, some stuff she do I love and some I like and the others have to grow on me. Now, I’m known for liking artist that take risk and what Beyonce did at the BET Awards was a major risk, ESPECIALLY after Keri Hilson performance.

First of all, Beyonce is NOT the first person to record “Ave Maria” the song was written in the 1800’s don’t know the exact date but we used to sing it in choir, and I’m really tired of people saying “we aint need to see Beyonce on stage in her wedding dress” [UGH, YOU STUPID FUCK] .

Lets break it down, Ave Maria is Latin for Hail Mary it is a Christian prayer used within Roman Catholicism, We Hail Mary [PRAISE MARY] because she played a vital part in the redemption of the world, without Mary's free acceptance of her calling from God we would not have Jesus in human flesh, it’s not a prayer of worship to Mary, but it is a recital of scripture and then an asking of her to pray for us to God.

Beyonce performed a theatrical version of the song personifying Mary with wearing all white and the white veil but adding a modern and fashionable twist to it thanks to Thierry Mugler. So, kiddies that’s where the concept came from….NOT her “showing off her wedding dress.” In closing, if you choose to read someone publicly do ya RESEARCH and internalize before you verbalize just how ignorant and small minded you REALLY are.

10. Gravis: The Transit Sneaker: Features a cotton interior lining, a perforated grain leather toe-box panel, nubuck side & tongue panels, a wax-coated toe & heel tab panel, a nylon ankle panel, lime green accenting, and a rubber sole.




09. Nike Terminator High (Grey/Black/Blue): The upper is composed of heather grey jersey with black tape accenting across the toe box.



08. Nike Skateboarding (SB)[July 2009 Release]: These almost resemble Deck shoes, only with a thicker sole this pair host a white sole with taupe/nubuck upper and light grey strings.

Year End Fashion Faux Pas

So, This year is coming to a close and the reason I'm writing this post is because I'm tired of my uhm....... plus size brothers & sisters (I was trying to find a word to use besides fat so I wouldn't be anatomically offensive and hurt feelings) trying to dress with the latest trends....knowing DAMN WELL that the outfit they have on doesn't go with their body types, now mind you, I'm a big dude too....so I'm not trying to ostracize the Chubby Community... but, I do know what looks good on me and what I can & can't wear....you will NOT catch me in J Crew buying t-shirts that looks like I went searching through my Jr. High wardrobe...with that being said.

My fellow hefties, can you please do me a favor and find your own style especially for those females who have extra meat like around their thigh, knee, and calf region PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!! stay away from that whole tights and skinny jeans phase please, because it seriously looks like two big christmas hams stuffed in a grocery bag. b.t.w. don't do the whole belted shirt thing if your stomach is big because it looks like your stomach is eating your belt also invest in a girdle there's no harm or foul in wearing one...and a pair of spanx they both tuck and lift and gives you a nicer silhouette and gives the illusion you have curves.

Big dudes, don't think I forgot about yall because I didn't!! you need to find a medium between wearing clothes that are too tight and clothes that are waaaay to big it makes you look extremely slouchy....if you have man boobs and you KNOW they stick out why put on just a wife beater? Serioulsy, throw a t-shirt on over it. PLEASE stay away from leather blazers and please stay clear of tucking your t-shirts and shirts in alll the way especially if your a "dunlap" which means your belly "done lapped" your jeans.....boot cut jeans? GROSS and can we stay away from flipped collars for those big dudes who have no neck because you look like a turtle in it's shell.....

Well, first of all, honestly I didn't even know she had a song out, let alone shooting a video for it...& secondly uhm.............................yea, uhm, I know you mouth the words over the track while shooting a video BUT I think she over exaggerated the mouth movements a little too much...it's a cute video for her, & I'm loving the lil shameless plug of their "Pastry" line...lol but when she was in that closet posing did she NOT look like B.Scott? or was that just me???...

Poster Girl Badu

Erykah Badu is the poster girl for Tom Fords new fragrance "White Patchouli", this story broke back in February (I wasn't blogging then) but they weren't sure about the name of the fragrance, which I just stated earlier that it's called White Patchouli & I see why they chose her as the poster girl for it, because Patchouli (oil) was popular in the 60's & 70's and was mostly used by the free spirits & hippies some also use it to keep their dreads conditioned..others say it's used as an insect repellent....but at any rate, Badu looks great in the picture (i'm a sucker for black & white photos) I thought it was Eva Marcille (Pigford) at first.

these shoes are SUPER STUPID SICK, the color scheme is outrageously something I would wear. but it's sad to say that these shoes haven't been released in US yet, & no word on if they will be or not, they are only available in the asian market (which sucks monkeys ass!) but hopefully by the time they drop here the price will be reasonable!....

Former ANTM contestant Toccara Jones magazine spread has hit the scene, I love Toccara she's Supabad & I wouldn't mind some of her McLovin but yall seriously have to back me up on this because yall know I'm right.... baby girl has lost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much weight to still be trying 2 carry those things around like that! that's gonna eventually lead to back problems, but these are just a few of my favorite pics from the shoot which was a 10 page spread.......

This one here (below) is a GREAT boobage shot, BUT her face is so dead!...I can hear Tyra in panel now "Toccara this is a beautiful picture & I wanted to believe the emotion you were trying to portray, but I just can't, this picture is fierce from the neck down, but you look so lost in the eyes, you know, you did this [*gives Toccara's facial expression*] when you should have been doing this....

No Air for the McFly's....

So like I seriously want to know why Nike is bull yanking the world?? everyone has been expecting these shoes McFly 2015 since FOREVER there's even been petitions to bring back the ORIGINAL shoes Marty McFly wore in "Back To The Future II" but we will be getting some "inspired" by the movie (pictured above) with same high section around the ankle & the grey color, they will also have "2015" on the tongues On a personal note I particularly don't care too much for the "inspired" shoes because they looking NOTHING like the real shoes McFly wore (pictured below) The shoes are to be released this summer, BUT where?... I don't know but I'll keep you posted... although I won't be buying them I'll save my money until 2015 (just in case they actually release the ORIGINAL shoes by McFly)
