I definitely remember the Sticky, Summer Night when I walked in the house and My MOTHER met me at the door to tell Me. Seconds later, My Boyfriend, Who had JUST dropped me off, called My cell to say the SAME thing. I was FLOORED; to say the least. I wasnt a HUGE Aaliyah Fan, but I was Totally Shaken and taken aback by her Sudden death.

yea me 2, i was just getting into bed & put it on CNN & that's when it flashed across the bottom of the screen. That next morning I got phone calls asking me if I was okay
(that made my brother mad bcz he was like the ppl was acting like i really knew her)
I miss my babe.... I cried an was extremly hurt.... I was driving to work when I heard the news from a friend... i ran up on the curb trying to park and everything! I was so upset! It still shakes me up today.
